On Wednesday we went to Waitangi Treaty Grounds. We were the first group to see a giant wāka. I think it was 654 cm.
First we went to the museum. We saw a trumpet that blew by it self. Next many years ago, a man was chasing an octopus. The octopus kept eating and eating the kai moana. The man was in a huge wāka. Plus we went into a whare runanga where there was singing. They had weapons like big sticks and knives.
Then there was a man called Matua Richard. He carves a lot. He’s been carving for 11years and we went back in the play room. We done sulp Gl, vr set and Robots!! The robots names were Dash1 and Dash2.
We went on the flashest bus in the world. It had two tvs on it. We watched Matilda and Peter Pan.
I felt amazing because we could draw on the vr set!
Kia ora! I am a Year 6 student in Room 5 at Ahipara School, in the Far North of New Zealand. My teacher is Ms Peters. This is where I share my learning. Please leave a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment.
